Bamboo rod making-penultimate ferrule making step
This is the next-to-the-last step in making the micro ferrules. Bamboo rod making in its advanced stages has the rodmaker experimenting with many variables. Shorter ferrules or micro ferrules, is a good example. In addition to weight savings, micro ferrules tend to minimize the dead spot in a bamboo fly rod at the ferrule station.
